Product Description

What you're getting: One 1 fl oz (30ml) amber glass bottle of 100% pure, undiluted citrus sinensis (sweet orange) essential oil. No carrier oil, no additives, no synthetic fragrance. Cold pressed from orange rinds — no heat involved in extraction, which preserves the bright, fresh character of the oil.

Scent profile: Warm, sweet citrus — clean orange without the sharpness of lemon or the tartness of grapefruit. Familiar and grounding. One of the most versatile citrus oils: it blends easily with spice oils (cinnamon, clove), florals (lavender), and other citrus. The kind of scent that makes a room feel lived-in rather than cleaned.

How to use it: In an ultrasonic diffuser, 3–5 drops per 100ml works well on its own or blended with cinnamon, clove, or lemon. In DIY cleaning recipes, it pairs well with vinegar-based solutions and adds a warm citrus scent to countertop sprays and wood cleaners. For topical use, dilute in a carrier oil first — 1–2% dilution is a good starting point. Cold-pressed citrus oils can cause photosensitivity, so avoid applying to skin before sun exposure.

The same oil we use in our cleaning line: This is the same citrus sinensis (orange) oil used in our Lavender Dish Soap and other products that include a citrus note. We source one quality of each oil — what we sell here is what goes into our products. Orange, like all citrus oils, is a global ingredient — the best ones come from warm-climate groves where the fruit develops its full aromatic potential. We source from there, test every batch at our facility in Cameron Park, California, and bottle it here. If you want to know what an oil smells like before building a recipe around it, you can smell it straight.
