Grapefruit Essential Oil
What you're getting: One 1 fl oz (30ml) amber glass bottle of 100% pure, undiluted citrus paradisi (grapefruit) essential oil. No carrier oil, no additives, no synthetic fragrance. Cold pressed from grapefruit rinds.
Scent profile: Bright, tart, and slightly bitter citrus — more complex than orange, less sharp than lemon. Grapefruit oil has an uplifting quality without the sweetness of tangerine or the warmth of orange. It's one of the better citrus oils for mornings — energizing without being aggressive about it. Blends well with rosemary, peppermint, and other citrus oils.
How to use it: In an ultrasonic diffuser, 3–5 drops per 100ml on its own or blended with rosemary, peppermint, or other citrus. In DIY cleaning recipes, it works well in kitchen sprays and multi-surface cleaners — the tart citrus note signals clean in a way that reads as fresh rather than perfumed. For topical use, dilute in a carrier oil (1–2% dilution). Cold-pressed grapefruit oil can cause photosensitivity — avoid applying to skin before sun exposure.
