Lemongrass Essential Oil
What you're getting: One 1 fl oz (30ml) amber glass bottle of 100% pure, undiluted cymbopogon flexuosus (East Indian lemongrass) essential oil. No carrier oil, no additives, no synthetic fragrance. Steam distilled from lemongrass leaves.
Scent profile: Fresh, bright, and citrus-forward — but with a grassy, herbaceous quality that sets it clearly apart from lemon oil. Lemongrass doesn't smell like squeezed lemon; it smells like walking through a field of it. Clean and energizing, with enough complexity to anchor a blend rather than just brighten it. This is the same oil in our Lemongrass Dish Soap, All-Purpose Cleaner, and Hand Soap lines.
How to use it: In an ultrasonic diffuser, 3–5 drops per 100ml. Lemongrass blends well with rosemary, eucalyptus, lemon, and lavender. In DIY cleaning recipes, it's a workhorse — it reads as clean, cuts through kitchen odors, and holds up well in formulas that include acids like vinegar. For topical use, dilute thoroughly in a carrier oil (1% or lower for sensitive skin) — lemongrass can cause irritation at higher concentrations.
